ISLAMABAD: An active network of human traffickers and smugglers has been busted in the Capital of Afghanistan on the bases of the information provided by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad.
According to the details, available with Indus Gazette, a major development has come to light in the case registered last year against an Afghan national who tried to travel from Pakistan to Ireland on a fake Pakistani visa.
Aghaz Salimi, the accused of sending Afghan nationals to Ireland on fake Pakistani visas, revealed during interrogation in FIA custody that agents applying for fake visas were operating from Afghanistan.
Zubair Ahmed Sheikh, the Deputy Director, Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, FIA Islamabad, along with all the information about the said smuggling network, contacted the Afghan embassy to take action against the agents in Afghanistan.

The FIA Islamabad Zone has now been informed by the Afghan Embassy that the Afghan security forces conducted a successful operation and arrested those agents from Afghan Capital Kabul.
The arrested accused including Haji Karimullah Siddiqui, Mohammad Raziq Amaq and Kayhan are being interrogated to further trace their sub-agents in Afghanistan and Pakistan who revealed in initial investigation that they were providing fake visas for USD 500 per person.
The Director FIA Islamabad Zone Waqar Ahmad Chauhan appreciated the efforts of the Afghan Embassy and the Afghan Security Agency and reiterated that Pakistani soil would never be allowed to be used for illegal purposes.
