Quetta: FIA Cyber Crime Wing has busted a network involved in issuance of fake and forged licenses after detecting its hideout near Lahore.

It has been surfaced in the investigation that the group was running a complete network including a fake website “pretended to be official” to satisfy the people for verification of Driving and Arms licenses

Two separate raids conducted in Quetta and Lahore by the team of CCRC Quetta on the direction of Additional Directer Ahmed Zaeem resulted into the arrest of two suspects Abdul Rehman and Muhammad Shafiq and recovery of Mobile Phones, Laptop, CPUS, LCD, Lamination Machine, cards paper (PVC), Sheets paper (PVC), Lamination, Ribbons, Fake stamps and Scanner.

According to the Details available with Indus Gazette an enquiry No. 12/2020 was registered in FIA CCRC Quetta on the basis of written complaint submitted by SP District Ziarat Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan regarding the network, in the proceedings the enquiry officer S.I Syed Muhammad Waseem obtained court order to probe the IP address, whereabouts and location details of the owner of fake website http://dlims-ziarat.com.

During the further course of enquiry, an agent namely Muhammad Shafiq was traced and detained, two mobiles phones were recovered from his possession and he was interrogated on spot where he admitted that he used to take order of Fake License and forward them to Muhammad Akram s/o Niaz Muhammad and his son namely Umar Akram s/o Muhammad Akram.

To proceed further in the light of evidences Additional Director Ahmed Zaeem constituted a raiding team under the supervision of S.I Muhammad Wasim comprising of H.C Bilal Abdul Nasir, H.C Khuram reached at House No. 04 Street No. 07 Imran Colony Chungi Hamar Sadu Kamaha road Lahore, where the accused Abdul Rahman s/o Muhammad Akram was found present at his house a Search was conducted on spot which resulted into the recovery of one mobile phones, one laptop, CPUS, one LCD, lamination machine, cards paper (PVC), Sheets paper (PVC), lamination, Ribbons, Fake stamps and one Scanner.

FIA team has taken the accused to CCRC Quetta office for further interrogation where Abdul Rehman in his statement admitted that he was making fake Driving and Arms licenses in connivance with his father Muhammad Akram and one another accomplice Bilal Ashraf.

An FIR has been registered under sections of PECA-2016 and other relevant sections of PPC, meanwhile efforts are being made for the early arrest of other accused persons.
