Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue has sought citizenship details from Grade 17 and above Customs officers.

In this regard, FBR has issued instructions to all Chief Collectors, Collectors, and all Directors General.

According to FBR, these customs formations have been given a format in which customs officers with dual citizenship must provide details.

FBR has said that these details apply to Customs officers in grade 17 or above and must fill this form and submit this form to FBR by August 23, 2022.

If an officer has dual citizenship, in such case, details such as name, post, grade, service group, identity card number and current posting, etc. must be provided.

Moreover, if the officer is married, then the details of the wife should also be given, including her name, identity card number, passport number,

Howsoever, if she or he is a citizen of another country, then the name of that country and the date on which her citizenship was acquired. etc., must be provided.
