QUETTA: In a successful operation of Customs team near Noshki Check Post, goods worth over Rs 20 million has been recovered.
According to the Customs Spokesperson , the consignment recovered was comprising on 3,000 kg of silver scrap and 6,341 kg of rust ingots loaded in a truck wish were taken in possession along with the truck by Customs. The goods were being transported from Noshki to Quetta.
The operation was carried out on the basis of intelligence information under the supervision of the Deputy Collector Hamid Hussain Qambrani who led the team including Senior Inspector Zaman Khan Mazari and other staff.
During the the current month, several successful operations have been carried out in this area to curb the menace of smuggling in light of the strict instructions of the Prime Minister.
to keep the vigilance on smugglers, on the instructions of Member Customs Operation Syed Muhammad Tariq Hida and Chief Collector Customs Balochistan Muhammad Sadiq teams in various areas of Baluchistan have been activated under the command of Collector Preventive Dr. Farid Khan and Additional Collector Moin Afzal.
