KARACHI: Sindh police claimed to have shot down a suspect in the encounter, allegedly involved in the killing of prominent Journalist Athar Mateen, associated with SAMA TV as Producer.
According to the SSP of Sindh police Basheer Barohi, the suspect identified as Anwar was killed while cross firing with police team, when police reached around the hideout on a tip.
It is pertinent to mention that the senior Journalist Athar Mateen was martyred, week ago on main road in Karachi, when he was shot down in firing incident while street criminals tried to snatch the valuables in the rush ours.
