Karachi: FIA Cyber Crime Sindh arrested as many as 6 accused involved in women, harassment, blackmailing and financial fraud on Social Media.
According to the officials The team Sukkur arrested the accused person namely Lal Gul S/O Muhammad Bux Mahar, who was sharing obscene pictures and videos of complainant along with blackmailing and harassment of multiple victims.
The accused used to befriend men on Facebook by using fake ID of a girl. In the disguise of being a girl, he used to bring men in compromised positions on video call and hence recorded the videos to blackmail them.
First he used to offer illicit relationships to me and on their denial , he used to ask for money to delete obscene videos and photos. He used to ask 20-30 k rupees to delete the videos though his Jazz Cash accounts.
Technical analysis of electronic gadgets of accused verified the presence of obscene videos of about 15 men including child , who he was blackmailing. Most of the victims belonged to surrounding areas of district Ghotki.
A case FIR No. 05/2022 u/s 14, 16, 20, 21, 22, 24 of PECA 2016 r/w sections 419, 420 of PPC has been registered against the above said accused person
Meanwhile The team in Karachi arrested one accused person namely Jamshed Ali S/o Javed Ali from Karachi after the registration of Case FIR No. 11/2022 u/s 16, 20,21 and 24 PECA-2016.The accused person is involved in blackmailing, harassing and sharing Objectionable data of the female complainant through social media.
in second apprehension CCRC Karachi teams arrested 2 accused persons namely Muhammad Ali S/o Muhammad yaqoob and Junaid hussain S/o Qazi Zahid hussain from Karachi after the registration of Case FIR No. 10/2022 u/s 13, 14,16 PECA-2016 r/w 419,420,109 PPC. The accused persons are involved in electronic fraud, forgery, cheating and impersonation, and deceived complainant and other innocent peoples through OLX.
whereas a team in Hyderabad arrested One accused person namely Mudsar S/o Mohbat Khan from Badin after registration of case FIR 04/2022 of CCRC Hyderabad.The accused person is involved in harassment, blackmailing and disseminating objectionable/obscene picture & videos of victim through WhatsApp to different family members.
in the meantime team in Sukkur arrested One accused person namely Afsar Rajput after registration of case FIR 06/ 2022 of CCRC Sukkur. The accused person is involved in harassment, blackmailing and disseminating objectionable/obscene picture & videos of victim through social media.
