Karachi: Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) of Customs Preventive Collectorate Karachi has raided secret Warehouse located in second floor of Fatima Manzil adjacent to Majestic cinema MA Jinah Raod and recovered foreign smuggled fancy fabric worth 26 million.
According to the details team of ASO Preventive acted upon a tip under the command of Deputy Collector Head Quarters Inam Ullah Wazir.
After the completion of the raid the Customs team loaded the smuggled cloth including huge quantity of Velvet and Fancy Fabric and transported it into the ASO headquarters for further proceedings and registered FIR to investigate and arrests of the involved smugglers.
According to the officials Customs field formation is fully committed to carry on uninterrupted crackdown on the menace of foreign origin cloth which causing huge loss to the National Exchequer amounting to billions in the shape of evading duty and taxes.
